Chaplain Scott D. Speight is a CPSP Diplomate Supervisor. Scott is a Chaplain (Captain) with the U.S. Army Reserves and is currently assigned to the 81st RSC, Ft.Jackson, SC as the Family Life Chaplain. Scott is married to Melissa Speight with four children.
Scott earned his Bachelor of Science in Management from Troy University, Troy, AL (Florida Region), and a Master of Divinity degree in Chaplaincy from Liberty University. He also completed the following CPE training: 1 unit of ACPE at Baptist Hospital, Pensacola, FL; 3 units of ACPE at Western Baptist Hospital, Paducah, KY; and two years of CPSP Supervisory Training.
He has served as a pastor, hospital staff chaplain, Director of Pastoral Care, and as a certified coach. He is certified in the following:
